A Communal Table at ArtEscape, North of the Medina
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
MarrakechThe operator's own line is that the class is about connection rather than cooking, and the structure backs it up: everything ends at one table, eating what the group made together, rather than everyone taking away their own plate.
Three and a half hours, hands on, with all the ingredients and all the tools provided. What you get out of it is meant to survive the flight home: the technique, the reasoning, and enough confidence to make these dishes again in a kitchen that is not this one.
It suits both ends of the room. If you cook at home already there is something here you did not know; if you have never made a tagine, nobody will mind.
Traditional Moroccan dress is part of the booking as well.
Up to fifteen people, in English, French or Arabic.
The kitchen is at ArtEscape, north of the medina, and getting there is taken care of: pickup from your hotel or riad is included, so give the accommodation name and address when you book. The driver makes contact beforehand to agree the time and the pickup point.
Wheelchair accessible throughout, prams fine, infant seats available.
