Hanoi Street Food with Sidewalk Green Tea and a Vegan Option
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
HanoiVietnamese food is built on a balance between fresh herbs, meat and a restrained hand with spice, which is why it is often called one of the healthiest cuisines anywhere and why it tastes of more than it contains.
Three hours in the Old Quarter, at eleven thirty or at six, with the guide collecting you from your hotel and walking you back afterwards if you are staying inside the quarter.
The menu rotates day to day: beef, chicken or grilled pork rice noodle soups, snails, dry noodles, sticky rice, doughnuts, steamed pancakes, Vietnamese sandwiches. What runs depends on what is good that day.
The green tea is drunk on the pavement, on a plastic stool, which is where Hanoi does most of its sitting.
There are versions for vegans and vegetarians, and a train street option if you want it.
Eight people at most, in English, with food, drinks including beer, coffee and tea all included.
Dietary requirements go in at booking.
